About Wayne Daniels
Wayne Daniels (born June 10th 1960 in Syracuse, NY) is a contemporary realist painter. His main influences are 17th century dutch painting and American realist painting of the 19th and 20th centuries. His paintings are built up of many translucent glazes to maximize depth and luminosity. He received a B.A. in art from Buffalo State University in 1983 and has been represented by Goodsight Gallery, Gallery of CNY, and Maresella Gallery. Wayne, It looks like you have studied Corot's work. The atmospheric treatment and textural finesse is masterly. I personally find the signature too large.

Hi Martin- Nice watercolors! Yes, this probably has a little Corot influence, along with american painters such as Inness and Blakelock. The painting is only 8x10 inches, so the signature is about as small as I could make it. Thanks for the compliments!
